Ok so, I have this friend, her name is Ginger... well first I have to say, I thought she was my friend, after this tag, I'm not so sure...lol I'm joking Ginger... What ever it takes to update my bog I guess.

I can't sit and watch a movie without falling asleep during it somewhere.
I can't do laundry during the week without it being left in either the washer or dryer. I just don't have the energy after working all day.
I'm addicted to Tim Hortons coffee. They know me by name, I go every morning.
The older I get, the less I like to cook. Eating is over rated.
My dog has to sleep with me.

UGHH

First I need to say I have been trying to do this for 3 days........ but blogger was being an ass.

Well its been a little bit since I drop all my blogger peeps a note. I don't have a very good excuse, other then every day life. Lets see.....

Got the kids back to school last week. Both of them in high school, both going to a different school. Tawn at St. T's and Court at Bayside. Tawni the poor kid had homework every single night. She didn't mind as much as I did. Man I don't have the patience to work all day an then come home and have to help. Don't get me wrong, its not I don't want to help, but come on if I wanted to be a teacher I'd a been a teacher. Hopefully this week isn't as bad.

Now Court on the other hand only had 2 nights and only maybe for 45 min max. She kills me she never has any home work. Well that's her story.

We went to the year end barn party Friday night. We had so much fun. We always do when we go to the barn. We finally made it home at 3:30 am. Yup, 3:30. I was a little tired on Saturday, but after a nap I was a fresh as a daisy...lol My knees were sore from all the dancing that I did, but I needed to do something to burn the KFC off that I'd ate for supper..lol

I've been doing really good watching what I am eating. I'm determined to lose some poundage before I go south in January. I have been going to the gym too. I always seem to drag my butt to get there but once I am done I have more energy then a barrel of monkeys.

I was wonderful surprised on Saturday when I opened my email to see an email from Ange Barton at Sweet Shoppe Designs asking if I was interested in being part of her team. Uhm, yeah hello of course I am, I quickly shot her back a reply . I'm sure she could tell I was jumping for joy...I was bouncing like a kid on sugar. She is so so nice, and her designs rock. They are so my style. I can't wait to get started.

Wow was I surprised to see this when I headed over for my daily checks.

Shocked I tell ya shocked. I am thrilled an these gals over there work hard to keep that site going. Tons of behind the stuff goes on while we all pop in an out to a post here and a post there. Girls, if you are reading this.... my hat's off to you!

Not too much new here. The summer is wrapping up, wow 2 weeks and the kids will be back to school. My baby is headed to grade 9. Wow, grade nine. It will be an interesting year for her. New school, new friends. I'm sure she will be fine.

We got the annual Brewster Corn fest this weekend. I am quite looking forward to it. Lots of drinks, bad singing, crazy dancing and some corn. We always have a good time. Its my brother. Well the closest thing I'll ever have to a brother. I'll be sure and get some photos since it's aways a good time. Last year we finally went to bed at 5 am.. only to get up at 9. I soon realized I'm too old for that, but I doubt it will stop me from doing the same thing this year...lol

Lots of stuff going on. Man it's hard to get back into the swing of things after being off on vacation. I sometimes think you need a vacation from the vacation.
I didn't think I was ever going to get caught up on the laundry.

Lets see Tuesday night was ball. Wow, we were like the bad news bears... I mean it's a fun league and all but some of the teams are a little more serious then others. My team not being one of them. We couldn't catch the ball to save our lives...lol Oh well it is a fun league.

I made it on yet another team. I'm proud to tell you all that I'm a tripper. A Jen Trippetti that is. She's so sweet and so much fun. I let her know in the beginning that I wanted to be part of her team but I wasn't sure I could meet her layout requirements. We made an agreement and it's great because it works for both of us. -- I'm happy about that.

The weather has turned cooler. The night time temp is suppose to go down to 11c or 52f. That tells me that the summer is coming to an end. The day time weather has been warm, and it's suppose to be warm this weekend. I just wish it'd would last longer. Why does the winter seem so so long?

The lotto here wasn't won last night. It's not 42 million for Saturday's draw. Now I say 42 million... what the heck would a person do with 42 million dollars. Me, I'd quit my job and stay home and scrap all day. I'd travel, I'd boost my satellite up to the fastest it could go.. heck... I'd buy the satellite world, I mean I prolly could it's 43 million...lol
In my humble opinion when it's that hi I think they should do 42 draws of 1 million rather then 1 draw. Lets that way I'd have more of a chance, right.

Think about it.... what would you do with 42 million?

wow I'm a bad blogger. For that I am sorry. It seems that I get all caught up in every day life and days and weeks pass by and before I know it I'm like the Blog the damn blog....lol

Lots of things have happened since my last up date. I don't even know where to start and I'm not sure I should bore you with my details.....

We spent this past Mon - Thurs at the cottage. Us and the kids with a friend each. That worked out well except the friend Court wanted to come couldn't and all her closer ones couldn't either. She asked her last hope and well she wasn't aware what picking up after herself ment. Water bottles where she left them. She'd eat and leave her plate at the table when everyone else took theirs to the sink, go figure. It's just too bad that kids are raised like that. I told my gals that I hope they didn't act like that when they were out at other places. Help is always a welcoming thing.

The weather was stinkin hot. At one point DH's truck said it was 98 and that was without the humidy. I thought we'd die. We all spent that night in the living room it was the coolest place which was still stinking hot. The weather Wednesday was cooler but not much.
Wednesday night we had a bad bad storm. We lots power for 2.5 hrs but no damage. There were reports of tornados not that far from us.

Now, I'm off to do some scrappin... :)

Wow, I stayed up till 2:30 last night scrapping with these new sketches . Yes I have some news for you....Check it out........





Just call me Yogi Beary.....lol I am thrilled to make this team I tell ya. What better gig is this ... sketches and fonts. I think I'm dreaming.
Kimberly has such a firey sense of humor, I can tell this is gonna be lots of fun!!

The team was announced last night at 12:01 and I stayed up til 2:30 playing with the sketches. There has been a little learning curve let me tell you. I am a DIP user but Kim creates her sketches in PS so it can be a little messy. Thanks to my wonderful pal Paige, she was right there in Hello explaining it to me step by step. I think I'm on my way to learning PSE 4. It's not bad just gotta wrap ya head around the layers.

Kristi, if you're reading this, I still love you too. Sorry I was MIA.

Haven't done much of anything today. Re-did the layout I was working on last night..lol. It was funny last night. My 17 yr old was telling me to go to bed, then at 2:30 my hubby came down gave me that evil eye and went back to bed. I'm like what, I'm scrapping and I'm not tired. What's your problem....lol Needless to say, I packed 'er in soon after that. I felt like a kid getting caught reading thier comics under their blankets with a flash light...lol

Well this cat's off to scrap some more... Unless someone wants to tell me what to make for supper.... Eating is SO over rated....

bad bad girl

I'm so bad... Good thing I don't treat my real life friends like I treat my blog. If I did I wouldn't have any friends now would I. Maybe that's why I have very little traffic, it's only understandable.

I've been lurking around over at the Digi Shop Talk. I've signed up and posted a couple layouts over there. It's a great place, everyone's so nice. There is TONNES of information there one wouldn't need to go anywhere else. Wow it's big. I feel so little there. I get lost there, in fact I spend hours there cruising the boards. I mean I lose track of time it's that bad...lol I like it don't get me wrong, I just feel wowed...lol

So, I'm back from holidays. Monday wasn't bad at all. Kinda weird actually. Then Tuesday hit. Wow I won't bore you with the details but lets just say some people don't know jack, and I don't mean jack black....lol

I need to readdress my last post. My dd has been bullied and does get treated pretty crappy sometimes. At the time of my post I was upset at the way that she had so recently been treated. I was feeling blue perhaps it was a combination of things needless to say I made a layout to help me feel better and to let her know that things will get better. The support that I have received through comment on my blog as well as the email have been wonderful. Thank you to all the girls that sent their love. You all are great. She is doing much better and so am I.

The kids went last Friday night too see The All American Rejects. They had a great time and were able to get really close to the stage. After the show they were able to meet Tyson Ritter and get a couple photos. They are still flying high off that show.

Well better get back to work....
